2008 Board Of Director Meeting Dates

All Board Of Director Meetings are held At 6:30 P.M. on the second Wednesday of each month in the Clubhouse located at The Beach Club.(other than what is listed below)

The 2008 Dates Are As Follows:

  • January 9  (Meeting cancelled cancelled due to lack of quorum)
  • February 13
  • March 12
  • March 26 - Delegate Election Meeting - Districts 7-13 at Bimat Elementary School at 6:30 p.m.
  • April 16 - Continued Delegate Election Meeting - Districts 7-13 at 6:30 p.m. Bimat Elementary School (if quorum is not reached on March 26)
  • April 23 - Annual Meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Bimat Elementary School
  • May 14
  • June 11
  • July 9
  • August 13
  • August 20 Annual Meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Bimat Elementary School (as April 23 meeting cancelled due to lack of quorum)
  • September 10
  • September 24 Annual Meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Bimat Elementary School (as August 20 meeting cancelled due to lack of quorum)
  • October 8
  • November 12
  • December 10

Any change in these dates will be posted at least four (4) days in advance of the scheduled meeting in the community bulletin board located at the entrance to the Clubhouse.

Right to Receive Minutes
Civil code section 1363.05(D) provides that the minutes of any board of directors meeting shall be available to the members within thirty (30) days of the meeting. The minutes shall be distributed to a member upon their written request and upon reimbursement of the associations costs for making that distribution, which is $1.00 per set of minutes, payable in advance.

The meeting minutes are posted in the bulletin board located at the beach club within thirty (30) days of the meeting.

Answer: The Board of Directors meet on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Clubhouse located at the Beach Club. The Board of Directors meetings are open to all homeowners. The meeting dates are included in the calendar. Once per year, the Association holds an Annual Membership Meeting for the purpose of electing directors and conducting any other business of the Association.

Answer: Civil Code Section 1363.05(d) provides that the minutes of any Board of Directors meeting shall be available to the members within thirty (30) days of the meeting. The minutes shall be distributed to a member upon their written request and upon reimbursement of the Association’s costs for making that distribution, which is $1.00 per set of minutes, payable in advance. This request should be sent to Pacific Management Company. The Annual Membership meeting minutes are mailed to each homeowner at the Association’s expense. The meeting minutes are also available for review on the website.
